Liz originally trained as a knitwear designer and worked in the fashion industry. In more recent years she has developed an interest in printmaking and studied for an MA at Camberwell College of Arts in London, graduating in 2001.

Since then she has regularly exhibited her work both locally and nationally and has been the recipient of several awards and bursaries.

Liz combines her work with lecturing. She has been course leader the for BA(Hons)Design Crafts course at Lowestoft College since the course began ten years ago and where her students have also been the recipients of many national awards.

Joining Verandah has given Liz the opportunity to produce a range of knitwear, interior products, cards and wrapping paper as well as continuing with her printmaking.
