About Verandah

The name "Verandah" comes from a book by Rumer Godden called "Kingfishers catch Fire". The heroine moves her family into the mountains in india to a pink painted villa called Dilkush.Her children are in danger and her servants swindle and try to poison her-but from her "Verandah" all looks calm and beautiful.

"Could I live here?"asked Sophie."Dare I?Why,anything could happen" but already the idea was putting new life into her........
