Marilyn Thomas

Marilyn studied Design Crafts at UCS Lowestoft graduating with a first class honours degree in 2005, specialising in textiles.  Since then she has worked as a freelance textile designer and regularly exhibits her work locally and nationally.

Marilyn’s passion for using vibrant, vivid colours is inspired by influences as diverse as the nomadic tribes of Nepal, anything vintage and traditional English cottage garden flowers.

Traditional and contemporary fair isle patterns are carefully knitted and then felted to create a collection of hand knitted and hand framed contemporary felted jackets, cardigans, shrugs and accessories.
